Barack Hussein Obama
Party: Democratic
Date of birth: 4-8-1961
Place of birth: Honolulu, Hawaii
Quote: "I'm asking you to believe. Not just in my ability to bring about real change in Washington... I'm asking you to believe in yours."
Personal profile
He is African-American, the son of Barack Obama Sr - a black Kenyan who went to the US on a study scholarship - and Anne Dunham, a white woman with wanderlust from Kansas.
He lived in Indonesia from the age of six to 10 with his mother and stepfather, before returning to live in the pacific island of Hawaii with his grandparents while his mother remained abroad.
A former community organiser on the South Side of Chicago, Obama shot to national prominence when he delivered an inspirational keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in 2004. He is accustomed to breaking barriers, becoming the first ever African-American president of the Harvard Law Review in 1991 and only the fifth African-American US senator just four years ago.
He is the 'rock star' candidate. In fact he said to one audience: "I just told (wife) Michelle backstage that the reason I'm running for president is because I can't be Bruce Springsteen." And he regularly delights massive crowds with his message of hope and change.
In short, he is not your average presidential candidate. He often says that his story is possible "only in America," and it certainly hasn't been mirrored anywhere else in the Western world.
Leadership
Obama lacks executive experience, and has never run anything bigger than his own election campaigns. However, if his campaigns are an indication of how he will run the White House, expect an extremely disciplined administration flush with a close team of highly skilled advisers.
He is an academic and fluent communicator, who likes to conduct extensive research and solicit expertise. He considers as many ideas and opinions as possible before deciding on the best solution to a problem. He wants to "suck the room of every idea," said Valerie Jarrett, a close adviser. This suggests his policies will be meticulously thought through and he will try to reach out to opponents and facilitate consensus, although he has no problem disregarding advice that he does not agree with.
Critics suggest that he may be uncomfortable making decisions quickly or abandoning a careful plan when circumstances dictate that he must.
Key issues
The National Journal ranked Obama as having the most liberal voting in the US senate in 2007. However, others argue that he is a consensus-seeking pragmatist with the broad aim of social renewal.
Economy
Obama would abolish Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy and increase taxes on Americans earning over $250,000 a year, while providing targeted tax relief to low and middle-income Americans and small and start-up businesses.
He claims that 95 per cent of Americans will experience tax cuts under his administration. He aims to create jobs by investing $150 billion over 10 years, create five million new green jobs and invest $25 in repairing infrastructure. Obama had called for the restructuring of the financial regulatory system months before the onset of the economic crisis.
Social issues
Obama is solidly pro-choice on abortion and advocates embryonic stem cell research. He opposes gay marriage but also opposes a federal constitutional amendment to ban it. He supports gay civil unions and gay adoptions. In the Illinois legislature, he pushed reforms to prevent innocent people from being executed, but supports the death penalty in extreme circumstances.
Iraq
Obama opposed the war in Iraq from the outset, claiming that "even a successful war against Iraq will require a US occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences."
Obama supports a phased withdrawal of US forces, with all troops out of combat operations within 16 months of taking office and only a residual force remaining to conduct targeted counter-terrorism missions and protect American diplomatic and civilian personnel.
Foreign policy and security
Obama believes that the war in Iraq distracted the US from the "central front of the War on Terror" in Afghanistan and the tribal areas of Pakistan. He intends working with allies to commit more troops and resources and has said that if America received specific intelligence about the whereabouts of Al-Qaeda fugitives inside Pakistan, then he is prepared to act unilaterally if necessary.
Obama hopes to improve US standing in the world by building and restoring alliances without surrendering American interests. He will seek dramatic reductions in US and Russian stockpiles of nuclear weapons and aims to strengthen the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
He has called for the closure of Guantanamo Bay and said he is prepared to meet the Iranian leadership for face-to-face talks without preconditions.
Campaign
Perhaps more than any candidate before him, Obama has energised voters - particularly youngsters - and his campaign team have overseen the creation of an unprecedented grassroots operation.
His army of volunteers devote their time to knocking on doors, making calls, helping to register likely Obama voters and helping them to cast their ballot early. Early voting normally favours Republican candidates, but figures released in the past few days show that registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans.
Obama has tried to distance himself from negative campaigning, and his main line of attack is that McCain represents another four years of the "failed policies" of George W. Bush.
Although the Obama campaign has refused to accept donations from Washington lobbyists or political action committees, it has raised a more than $600 million, almost equalling the combined amount both major candidates raised in the 2004 presidential election. This staggering sum has come from more than three million individual donors, many of whom donated small sums over the internet. The impressive fighting fund has helped Obama to dominate advertising space in key states during recent weeks. Last week, the Obama campaign purchased half-hour, prime-time advertisement slots on seven major US TV channels, at a cost of $1 million each.
Ten things God won't ask
2...God won't ask the square footage of your house, He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.
3...God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, He'll ask how many you helped to clothe.
4...God won't ask what your highest salary was, He'll ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.
5...God won't ask what your job title was, He'll ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability.
6...God won't ask how many friends you had, He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.
7...God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived, He'll ask how you treated your neighbors.
8...God won't ask about the color of your skin, He'll ask about the content of your character.
9...God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation, He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the gates of Hell.
10...God won't ask how many people you forwarded this to, He'll ask if you were ashamed to pass it on to your friends. Read Carefully Happy moments, praise God. Difficult moments, seek God. Quiet moments, worship God. Painful moments, trust God.Every moment, thank God.

Mahabharata in Telugu Literature
The very first literary work in Telugu literature, Andhra Mahabharata which appeared in the mid 11th century, forms the best introduction to classical Telugu poetry.
The Andhra Mahabharata is called the ‘Trinity of Telugu literature (Kavitrayam).
The first poet Nannaya Bhattu left it abruptly in the middle of the Aranya Parva, probably due to death or political reasons. His patron, Raja Raja Narendra (1019-1061)’ of the Eastern Chalukya dynasty, Nannaya was his ‘Kulabrahmana’ or spiritual advisor.
They had to seek the help of his maternal uncle, Rajendra Chola in the South. The great literary undertaking was Tikkana Somayaji resumed the work in the 13th century from Virata parva onwards and completed the Telugu version. The unfinished portion in Aranya parva stands in the name of Errapragada (early 14th century) who was an equally eminent poet.
In their Telugu version they adopted the kavya or poetic style and by skillful abridgement reduced its size to nearly one half of the original by omitting repetitive passages and for brevity in expression.
Nannaya for instance, performed a major poetic surgery by omitting Bhishma’s long eulogy and enumeration of Krishna’s earlier Avataras in the Rajasuya-Sisupala Vadha episode and made it quite crisp and dramatic.
Tikkana required only 70 verses to convey the message of Bhagavadgita in Bhishma Parva.
Potana Bammera - Telugu kavi
Potana Bammera(1450-1510) was born in Bammera, a village twenty miles away from Warangal, into a Niyogi Brahmin family. His father was Kesanna and his mother was Lakkasanamma. He was considered to be a natural scholar (sahaja panditha) without a teacher. Potana was a very polite gentleman. He was an agriculturist by occupation. Though he was a great scholar, he never hesitated to work in the agricultural fields.
At an early age he wrote ‘Bhogini Dandakam’ a poem wrote in praise of king Sri Singa Bhoopala’s concubine Bhogini. This was his first poetic venture which had the seeds of his great poetic talents.
His second work was "Virabhadhra Vijayamu" which describes the adventures of Lord Virabhadhra, son of Lord Shiva. The main theme was the destruction of a yagna performed in absence of Lord Shiva by Daksha Prajapathi.
As a young man, he was a devotee of Lord Shiva. Later, Potana became a devotee of Lord Rama and more interested in salvation. His conversion from Shaivism to Vaishnavism was triggered by an incident. One early morning during a lunar eclipse, on the banks of river Godavari, Potana was meditating on Lord Shiva. At that auspicious moment, Lord Rama appeared dressed like a king and requested Potana to translate Bhagavatam into Telugu and dedicate it to him. This inspired him to translate Vyasa’s Sanskrit Bhagavatam into Telugu.
The king of Warangal, Sarvajna Singa Bhoopala, wanted Potana to dedicate ‘Andhra Maha Bhagavatamu’ to him. But, Potana refused to obey the king’s orders and dedicated the Bhagavathamu to Lord Rama, whom he worshipped with great devotion. It is said that Potana remarked, ‘it is better to dedicate the work to the supreme Lord Vishnu than dedicate it to the mortal kings.’ He was of opinion that poetry was a divine gift and it should be utilized for salvation by devoting it to the God.
He was quite fond of using rhythm and repetition of sounds giving a majestic grace to the style of writing. He was very skilful in using alankaras (figures of speech) like similes and metaphors. Potana imparted the knowledge of the divine to the Telugu people along with lessons in ethics and politics through Andhra Maha Bhagavatamu.
Even illiterate Telugus readily quote verses from chapters 'Gajendra Mokshamu' and 'Prahlada Charitra' of his work, ‘Andhra Maha Bhagavathamu,’ the crown jewel of Telugu literature. Andhra people are greatly indebted to the most beloved poet Potana Bammera.

INTERVIEW TIPS
An important thing to be noted here is that body language applies not only to the interviewer but also to the interviewee. Also, note that these gestures may happen throughout the conversation or a discussion and they change as the conversation progresses.
The objective of paying attention to nonverbal communication is to help you change the direction of the conversation. If the person is showing negative gestures, then you need to change the topic by asking a new question or talking about something else. In this issue of the Career Headlines, we provide you a comprehensive list of probable body gestures, which you can watch out for during a course of a job interview
01. Crossed arms - means that the person is in a defensive and reserved mood.
02. Crossed arms and legs - means that the person feels very reserved and suspicious.
03. Open arms and hands - means that the person is open and receptive.
04. Standing before you with hands inside the pockets - means he is not sure or feels suspicious.
05. Standing before you with hands on hips - means he is receptive and ready to help you out.
06. Sitting in a chair shaking one of the legs - means he feels nervous and uncomfortable.
07. If the eyes are downcast and face turned away - means he is not interested in what you are saying.
08. With the palm of the hand holding or supporting chin - means he is in an evaluating position and being critical.
09. Leaning back in chair with both hands clasped behind head - means he is in an analytical mood, but it is also a gesture of superiority.
10. Rubbing or touching nose when asking a question - means he is not telling the complete truth.
11. Rubbing or touching nose when answering a question - means he is not telling the complete truth.
12. Rubbing the back of head or rubbing or touching the back of neck - means the conversation is not really interesting.
13. If he moves his body and sits with his feet and body pointing towards a door - means he wants to end the conservation and leave the room.
Last but not the least do not underestimate the importance of your posture and subtle movements. Even if you are nervous try not to show it. Don't play with your jewellery, watch, clothes, bag, twirl your hair or cross your arms, and try to maintain an eye contact with the interviewer. If staring straight into recruiter's eye makes you feel uncomfortable or uneasy, try to look at the portion between the eyes instead- it looks like you're still making an eye contact, but might be less distracting. All the Best.

MOST For Windows
MOST for Windows is a Windows-based work measurement tool that enables you to create and maintain a database of work elements. The software automatically produces times based on the MOST keyword Language method description entered by the analyst.
MOST for Windows allows you to quickly and accurately measure the time required to perform a job or task. Using work area layouts (graphical representations of an actual work environment), you use an English like "keyword" language to create steps within a sub-operation. A sub-operation is a discrete, logical, and measurable part of a job or task.
MOST for Windows provides three separate Work Measurement Systems:MOST for Windows provides three separate Work Measurement Systems:
BasicMOST, MiniMOST, and MaxiMOST. The BasicMOST system satisfies the most common work measurement situations in manufacturing. BasicMOST is the core of MOST Work Measurement Systems and includes sequence models to analyze the movement of objects, the use of tools, and the operation of manual and powered cranes.
Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST)
What is MOST?
MOST is an acronym for Maynard Operation Sequence Technique. It was developed at H.B. Maynard & Co., Inc, USA in 1970’s It is a Revolutionary PMTS System. MOST is an activity based work measurement system that enables you to calculate the length of time required to perform a task i.e. a system to measure work
This technique is based on fundamental statistical principals and basic work measurement data compiled over many years. MOST concentrates on movement of objects. It was noticed that the movement of objects follow certain consistently repeating patterns, such as reach, grasp, move & position of object. These patterns were identified and arranged as a sequence events followed in moving an object. This concept provides the basis for the MOST Sequence models.
Why MOST?
• Universal Approach• Fast to Apply• Adequate Accuracy• Easy to Understand and Learn• Minimum of Paperwork• Multilevel System• Consistent Results• Encourages Method Development and Improvement• Derive Activity Timings in Advance • No Rating System as required in Time Study
Methodology
In order to carry out MOST work measurement exercise and to arrive at a standard time for all the activities in a plant. Following procedure is recommended.
1. Awareness & Training Program 2. Awareness & Training Program in a group (around 20 to 25) consisting of Management, Supervisors & Operators. This training program will be of 4 days3. Identification of a group of employees (min. 3 to 4) department wise for charring out work measurement by MOST.4. Allocate responsibilities to the selected group of employees5. MOST work Measurement for all the activities in shop floor6. Approval of work measurement done by the team7. Arrive at a Standard time for each activity8. Application of the Standard time & data for Work allocation for operator. Toyota Production Technique can be applied for work distribution.9. Implementation of the above work distribution in shop floor & other production areas.

It is due the another round of hike of fuel prices. Wholesale prices based inflation touched a new 13 year high of 11.89 percent much higher than the reserve bank tolerance limit of 5.5
Over the next two quarters, manufacturing sector inflation would add to 200-300 basis points to the headline WPI rate, food and oilseed inflation would add 100-200 basis points, and energy inflation a further 100-150 basis points…
TAKT TIME CALCULATION
Before going to do the calculations, we need to have below listed data
1. Demand for all components of one department or organization for annually/monthly
2. each process cycle time
Step1: does the PQ analysis
Step2: get the total demand
Step3: get the available time ( 24 hours*365days per annuam, 24 Hours*30 days per month)
Step4: divide the total available time with total demand
Result is number of secs/mins/hours required for one product is called TAKT time

forced ATM Operations
In case of forced ATM operations, If any robber catches you and you are forced by the robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police so smartly by entering your Pin Number in reverse.
For example if your pin number is1234 then you would put in 4321.
The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM CARD you placed in the machine.
The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.
This information was recently a broadcast on TV and it states that it is seldom used because people don't know of its existence. Please pass this information to everyone you know for its usage in such incidences...........
good morning
A ship sails in one direction, another in opposite..
It is not the wind that decides which direction the ship goes;
It's the sails; how they are tied and how they are maneuvered.
Similarly , it is not fate that decides where your life is going;
It is all about how you take life and where you take it to.

Monument of Akshardham
The Akshardham monument, built without steel, is entirely composed of sandstone and marble. It consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, 9 ornate domes, 20 quadrangled shikhars, a spectacular Gajendra Pith (plinth of stone elephants) and 20,000 murtis and statues of India ’s great sadhus, devotees, acharyas and divine personalities.
The monument is a fusion of several architectural styles of pink stone and pure white marble. Pink stone symbolizes bhakti (devotion) in eternal bloom and white marble of absolute purity and eternal peace. The monument was built after over 300 million man hours of services rendered by 11,000 volunteers, sadhus and artisans.
It is the one of the wonders of the modern world, and the wonders of modern India
MASS CUSTOMIZATION
Mass Customization is all about the (economically viable) mass production of individually customized goods and services. In his book, Joe Pine describes five basic methods by which organizations can achieve mass customization:-
Customization of services around standardized products and services
Creation of customizable products and services
Provision of ‘point of delivery’ customization
High responsiveness throughout the value chain
Modularization of components to customize end products and services
Pine also discusses four innovations which further help to eliminate the ‘mass’ and ‘customized’ contradiction within an organization:-
Just-in-time (JIT) delivery
Reduction of set-up and change-over times
Reduction of cycle times throughout the value chain
Production based on orders and not forecasts
EAI
IAI: Internet application integration (IAI) enables multiple companies to automate cross-enterprise business processes, such as placing orders or checking inventory, by linking their different software applications over the Internet.
On-line Analytic Processing (OLAP) is a relational database optimized for rapidly analyzing data along multiple dimensions, such as customer, supplier, parts, products, and regions.
3PL: An organization that manages and executes a particular logistics function, using its own assets and resources, on behalf of another company
A 4PL is an integrator that assembles the resources, capabilities, and technology of its own organization and other organizations to design, build and run comprehensive supply chain solutions."
Vendor Managed Inventory: A means of optimizing Supply Chain performance in which the manufacturer is responsible for maintaining the distributors inventory levels. The manufacturer has access to the distributors inventory data and is responsible for generating purchase orders
What is Master Production Schedule?
A Master Production Schedule or MPS is the plan that a company has developed for production, inventory, staffing, etc. It sets the quantity of each end item to be completed in each week of a short-range planning horizon. A Master Production Schedule is the master of all schedules. It is a plan for future production of end items.
MPS INPUTS:
Forecast Demand
Production Costs
Inventory Costs
Customer Orders
Inventory Levels
Supply
Lot Size
Production Lead Time
Capacity
MPS OUTPUT (production plan):
Amounts to be Produced
Staffing Levels
Quantity Available to Promise (QAP)
Projected Available Balance

Just-in-time JIT
It originally referred to the production of goods to meet customer demand exactly, in time, quality and quantity, whether the `customer' is the final purchaser of the product or another process further along the production line.
It has now come to mean producing with minimum waste. "Waste" is taken in its most general sense and includes time and resources as well as materials.
Elements of JIT include: Continuous improvement.
• Attacking fundamental problems - anything that does not add value to the product.
• Devising systems to identify problems.
• Striving for simplicity - simpler systems may be easier to understand, easier to manage and less likely to go wrong.
• A product oriented layout - produces less time spent moving of materials and parts.
• Quality control at source - each worker is responsible for the quality of their own output.
• Poka-yoke - `foolproof' tools, methods, jigs etc. prevent mistakes
• Preventative maintenance, Total productive maintenance - ensuring machinery and equipment functions perfectly when it is required, and continually improving it.
• Eliminating waste. There are seven types of waste:
o waste from over production.
o waste of waiting time.
o transportation waste.
o processing waste.
o inventory waste.
o waste of motion.
o waste from product defects.
• Good housekeeping - workplace cleanliness and organisation.
• Set-up time reduction - increases flexibility and allows smaller batches. Ideal batch size is 1item. Multi process handling - a multi-skilled workforce has greater productivity, flexibility and job satisfaction.
• Levelled / mixed production - to smooth the flow of products through the factory.
• Kanbans - simple tools to `pull' products and components through the process.
• Jidoka (Autonomation) - providing machines with the autonomous capability to use judgement, so workers can do more useful things than standing watching them work.
• Andon (trouble lights) - to signal problems to initiate corrective action.
JIT - Background and History
JIT is a Japanese management philosophy which has been applied in practice since the early 1970s in many Japanese manufacturing organisations. It was first developed and perfected within the Toyota manufacturing plants by Taiichi Ohno as a means of meeting consumer demands with minimum delays .
Taiichi Ohno is frequently referred to as the father of JIT.
Toyota was able to meet the increasing challenges for survival through an approach that focused on people, plants and systems. Toyota realised that JIT would only be successful if every individual within the organisation was involved and committed to it, if the plant and processes were arranged for maximum output and efficiency, and if quality and production programs were scheduled to meet demands exactly.
JIT manufacturing has the capacity, when properly adapted to the organisation, to strengthen the organisation's competitiveness in the marketplace substantially by reducing wastes and improving product quality and efficiency of production.
There are strong cultural aspects associated with the emergence of JIT in Japan. The Japanese work ethic involves the following concepts.
• Workers are highly motivated to seek constant improvement upon that which already exists. Although high standards are currently being met, there exist even higher standards to achieve.
• Companies focus on group effort which involves the combining of talents and sharing knowledge, problem-solving skills, ideas and the achievement of a common goal.
• Work itself takes precedence over leisure. It is not unusual for a Japanese employee to work 14-hour days.
• Employees tend to remain with one company throughout the course of their career span. This allows the opportunity for them to hone their skills and abilities at a constant rate while offering numerous benefits to the company.
These benefits manifest themselves in employee loyalty, low turnover costs and fulfilment of company goals.

Workshop on HR for Non-HR Managers
Most Managers get to leadership positions because they have proven their excellence as individual contributors in their areas of operations and specializations. But as a manager the Organization expects a larger role in effective utilization of resources. This requires achievement of results through creativity, expertise and motivation of those in the team.
People are at the centre of all activities in an organization. Its people who
build organizations, they achieve results, they strategize for growth and
they bring about change. Human resources are, therefore, the most important
resource that any manager could have. A keen understanding of this all important resource and the associated processes that help stretch and leverage it for maximizing performance is a must for non HR professionals.
After all they are the first line HR Managers.
Whether you are new to management or a seasoned professional, Workshop will help in learning and improving the essential skills that an effective manager must master in the arena of HR. The programme focuses on various dimensions of Human Resource which have immense utility in both short and long term.
Importance of Human Resource

THEN, look how far the love of God will take you:
L-O-V-E-O-F-G-O-D 12+15+22+5+15+6+7+15+4 = 101%
Therefore, one can conclude with mathematical certainty that: While Hard Work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there,
It's the Love of God that will put you over the top! Have a nice day & God bless!!

WHAT NUMBERS CAN DO?
"Hello?"
"Hi honey, this is Daddy, Is Mommy near the phone?"
"No Daddy, She's upstairs in the bedroom with Uncle Paul."
After a brief pause, Daddy says, "But honey, you haven't got an Uncle Paul."
"Oh yes I do, and he's upstairs in the room with Mommy right now"
...... Brief Pause
"Uh, okay then, ..this is what I want you to do. Put the phone down on the table, run upstairs and knock on the bedroom door, and shout to Mommy that Daddy's car just pulled into the driveway."
"okay Daddy, just a minute"
A few minutes later the little girl comes back to the phone. "I did it, Daddy"
"And what happened honey?" he asked
"Well, Mommy got all scared, jumped out of bed with no clothes on and ran around screaming. Then she tripped over the rug, hit her head on the dresser and now she isn't moving at all!"
"Oh my God!!! What about your Uncle Paul?"
"He jumped out of the bed with no clothes on, too. He was all scared and he jumped out of the back window and into the swimming pool. But I guess he didn't know that you took out the water last week to clean it. He it the bottom of the pool and I think he's dead"
***Long Pause***
******Longer Pause******
Then Daddy says: "Swimming pool?? ... Is this 486-5731??”
DETECT A 2-WAY MIRROR
It is also shown in Hindi Movie HUMRAAZ
Many of the hotels and ready made apparel showrooms cheat the customers this way & watch privately.
HOW TO DETECT A 2-WAY MIRROR?
When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, trial / changing rooms, etc., how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, r actually a 2-Way Mirror i.e., they can see you, but you can't see them). There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms or bathroom or bedrooms. It is very difficult to positively identify the surface by just looking at it. So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at?
CONDUCT THIS SIMPLE TEST:
Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENUINE mirror. However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR! (There is someone seeing you from the other side). So remember, every time you see a mirror, do the "fingernail test." It doesn't cost you anything. It is simple to do. This is a really good thing to do. The reason there is a gap on a real mirror, is because the silver is on the back of the mirror UNDER the glass. Whereas with a two-way mirror, the silver is on the Surface. Keep it in mind! Make sure and check every time you enter in hotel rooms. May be someone is making a film on you.

A WONDERFUL STORY
A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."
"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.
"No", she replied. "He's out."
"Why is that?" she asked.
One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."
The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"
His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?"
Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!"
"Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his wife.
"Go out and invite Love to be our guest."
The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest."
Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?"
The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!!!!!!"

Appraisal and Resignation
In Appraisal meeting they will speak only about your
Weakness, Errors, and Failures
In Resignation meeting they will speak only about your
Strengths, Past Achievements and Success
In Appraisal you may need to cry and beg for even 10% hike.
Resignation you can easily demand (or get even without asking) more than 50-60% hike
During Appraisal, they will deny promotion saying you didn’t meet the expectation, don’t have leadership qualities, u had several drawbacks in our objective/goal (Everybody Knows his remarks)
During Resignation, they will say you are the core member of team; you are the vision of the company how can you go, you have to take the project in shoulder and lead your juniors to success.
There is 90% chance for not getting any significant incentives after APPRAISAL
There is 90% chance of getting immediate hike after u put the RESIGNATION
Hope everybody enjoys this situation every year now this season time.
LIFE IS LIKE WATER
"The vision that you glorify in your mind, the ideal that you enthrone in your heart –
This you will build your life by, and this you will become".
A group of working adults got together to visit their University lecturer. The lecturer was happy to see them. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.
The Lecturer just smiled and went to the kitchen to get an assortment of cups - some porcelain, some in plastic, some in glass, some plain looking and some looked rather expensive and exquisite.
The Lecturer offered his former students the cups to get drinks for themselves. When all the students had a cup in hand with water, the Lecturer spoke:
"If you noticed, all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal that you only want the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all you wanted was water, not the cup, but we unconsciously went for the better cups. Just like in life, if Life is Water, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold/maintain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change. If we only concentrate on the cup, we won't have time to enjoy/taste the water in it."
7 DONT'S AFTER A MEAL
* Don't smoke- Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).
* Don't eat fruits immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.
* Don't drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.
* Don't loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted & blocked.
* Don't bathe - Bathing will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.
* Don't walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.
* Don't sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.
• Do not lie down immediately after taking medicine before sleeping.
